Objectives of Whyalla 1st

  1. Promote a central reference point for members and other persons who support free enterprise objects to meet and exchange views and ideas.
  2. To act as a conduit for members and others to promote Whyalla as a City that supports and welcomes new business and industry to our region.
  3. To establish and support programs designed to improve the relationship between elected representatives and the business community of Whyalla.
  4. To co-operate with other associations, institutions with objectives similar to those of Whyalla 1st Inc, to form a joint approach on future developments or issues of concern.
  5. To arrange meetings of members of Whyalla 1st with elected representatives, Business & Industry Leaders, public service departmental identities and others for social networking and promotion of forming worthwhile business relationships.
  6. To encourage membership and representation of Whyalla 1st members in the business associations and political arenas - to further enhance Whyalla 1st objects and goals.
